Educational Conferences
Our fellowship program is unique in the quality, breadth, and number of multidisciplinary conferences. Endocrine Grand Rounds is the highlight of our week, on Fridays from 12-2pm during the academic year. This conference starts with a Clinical Dilemma (Fellows’ Case Conference, which entails presentation of a patient who was cared for by our endocrine team in conjunction with the fellow) and is followed by a presentation from an invited speaker, usually of national prominence, working in Clinical, Translational, or Basic Science research. Once a month, we have a Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Basis of Endocrinology Conference (MCDBE) given by a doctoral or post-doctoral fellow. In addition to the weekly VA Endocrine Conference and Internal Medicine Grand Rounds, we also have numerous specialty conferences, including:
- Bone & Stone Conference [monthly, Sep-Jun]
- Bone Journal Club [monthly, Sep-Jun]
- Diabetes Conference [monthly, Sep-Jun]
