William Renock

Bill earned a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut. Joining the team at Yale Center for Genome Analysis in 2012, Bill has operated extensively in each of the key production groups including sequencing, DNA, and RNA preparation. He took a leave from Yale to become the Chemistry Department Manager for a startup agricultural remediation company in Oregon. He later was scouted to become the Technical Director for a chemical compliance and government reporting laboratory. In 2021, Bill rejoined YCGA to lead the Covid variant-detection processing and currently is the manager for YCGA’s new Spatial Technologies group.
