As a research associate at YCGA, Maximilian Carpino is a specialist in next-generation sequencing workflow automation. After earning a B.S. in molecular and cell biology from the University of Connecticut, he worked as a scientist with ThermoFisher’s Ion Torrent NGS division where he developed novel automation solutions for sample preparation. Maximilian then moved to Abcam where he worked as a specialist in single-cell mRNA capture and sequencing for a novel, NGS-based antibody discovery pipeline. Maximilian joined YCGA in May of 2023.
