Ho-Joon Lee, PhD

Associate Research Scientist in Genetics

Ho-Joon Lee is an Associate Research Scientist in Genetics with expertise in data science, machine learning, and systems biology. He obtained a PhD in bioinformatics from the Free University of Berlin and the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Germany and Master’s degrees in theoretical physics and applied mathematics from Cambridge University and Swansea University in the United Kingdom. His postdoctoral training was in systems biology at Harvard Medical School. Before joining Yale, he was a research faculty in physiology at the University of Michigan Medical School working on cancer metabolomics. His research topics include single cell biology, systems/network biology, and biomedical artificial intelligence.
