From the Alumni Bookshelf: Robert Wolf, MD, FEL ’94

Robert Wolf, MD, FEL ’94 has built a distinguished career as a neuroradiologist, with over three decades of experience in diagnostic radiology. A graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Wolf completed his radiology residency at Brown University and a fellowship in neuroradiology at Yale University. His clinical has spanned multiple states, and for the past 17 years, he has continued to serve patients while working part-time in southern Florida.

Throughout his career, Dr. Wolf has been recognized for his precision in diagnostic imaging and his dedication to advancing patient care. His work in neuroradiology has contributed to the early detection and treatment of complex neurological conditions, helping countless individuals receive timely and effective care.

In addition to his medical accomplishments, Dr. Wolf has recently gained national attention as the author of Not A Real Enemy: The True Story of a Hungarian Jewish Man’s Fight for Freedom. The book, which recounts the harrowing journey of his physician father, Ervin Wolf, through the Holocaust and Communist Hungary, has received multiple awards and critical acclaim. It serves as both a personal tribute and a broader call to remember and learn from history.

Dr. Wolf’s commitment to education and remembrance extends beyond the page. He donates a portion of his book’s proceeds to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and actively participates in speaking engagements and educational initiatives. His dual legacy—as a physician and a storyteller—reflects a lifelong dedication to healing, whether through medicine or memory.
