Dr. Sanganahalli selected to participare in the Butler-Williams Scholars Program 2025

Basavaraju Sanganahalli, PhD, Assistant Professor from the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, has been selected to participate in the prestigious Butler-Williams Scholars Program 2025 sponsored by the National Institute on Aging (NIA). His research work is on "Functional and Metabolic Imaging in Aging: Investigating Neurovascular and Neuroenergetic Alterations"

The Butler-Williams Scholars Program is a highly competitive initiative that provides a unique opportunity for early-career scientists to expand their knowledge and network in the field of aging research. This year the program will cover a comprehensive range of topics, including Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, the basic biology of aging, behavioral and social science research, geriatrics and clinical gerontology, and guidance on developing research interests.
