Overview
Nicholas Stroumbakis, MD, is a fellowship-trained urological oncologist who has been serving patients in Fairfield County for more than 30 years. He practices general urology with an emphasis in oncology and covers everything from disease prevention to treating complicated cancers.
Patients with cancer in the prostate, bladder, kidney, and other areas are offered up-to-date treatment options with a focus on evidence-based recommendations.
Dr. Stroumbakis is an expert in both minimal invasive procedures and general urologic surgeries. He also treats patients with enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, overactive bladder, incontinence, and other urologic conditions in both men and women.
He completed a urological oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering after graduating from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Stroumbakis is the recipient of several distinctions, including Castle Connolly “top doctor” awards (since 2017) and “top doctor” designations in Connecticut.
