Anees B. Chagpar, MD receives the Yale Cancer Center Clinical Research Prize

Anees B. Chagpar, MD, MSc, MBA, MA, MPH, FACS, FRCS(C) received the Yale Cancer Center Clinical Research Prize at Yale Cancer Center's annual Conclave for her paper "A Randomized, Controlled Trial of Cavity Shave Margins in Breast Cancer" published in the New England Journal of Medicine. Dr. Chagpar is Director of the Breast Center at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven, Associate Professor of Surgery, and a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program. Dr. Howard Hochster presented the award to her.
