Ellelan Degife

Ellelan Degife is a fourth year medical student at Yale School of Medicine. She holds a bachelor's degree from Pomona College in Public Policy Analysis with a concentration in Public Health. Her research interests include outcomes in cardiac surgery and healthcare access and delivery.

During her time at Yale, Ellelan has helped lead the Student National Medical Association/Latino Medical Student Association (SNMA/LMSA), the United States Health Justice elective (USHJ), and sat on the Committee for Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Justice (CDISJ).
