Biography
Santiago Clocchiatti-Tuozzo MD, MHS, is a T32 Postdoctoral Fellow in Geriatric Clinical Epidemiology and Aging-Related Research at the Aging Department and Falcone Lab in the Department of Neurology, Yale University. He completed his MD Summa Cum Laude at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina before emigrating to his new home in the United States to pursue advanced research training in the intersection of neurology and aging, population genetics, genomic medicine, and data sciences. Dr. Clocchiatti-Tuozzo’s work focuses on understanding how genetic variations and their phenotypes, such as cardiovascular and neurological risk factors, can strongly influence brain health and aging-related traits and outcomes: dementia, cognitive decline, frailty, disability, and more. Key areas of emphasis within his research framework are the utilization of multiple different data sources including neuroimaging, eHR, statistical analyses with big data, social determinants of health, and other -omics technologies.
