Biography

Marc Machaalani, MD is an Internal Medicine resident at Yale New Haven Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the Lebanese University in 2023 and subsequently pursued a postdoctoral research fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School under the mentorship of Dr. Toni K. Choueiri.

During his fellowship, Dr. Machaalani’s research focused on integrative analyses of circulating and tumor biomarkers in renal cell carcinoma, with particular interests in tumor–host interactions, immune evasion, the gut microbiome, and cancer genomics.

Dr. Machaalani’s work has been published in leading journals, including Nature Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Nature Communications, Journal of the National Cancer Institute, European Urology, and other leading journals, and has been presented at national and international conferences.
