Educational Programs

The Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging at the Yale School of Medicine is a premier center for education in both diagnostic and interventional radiology. Our department is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and highly advanced learning environment for students, residents, and fellows.

Our residency offerings include programs in Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, and Medical Physics, each designed to equip participants with critical skills and knowledge. We also provide a range of fellowship opportunities in specialized areas such as Breast Imaging, Body Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Pediatrics, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Neuroradiology, Cardiothoracic Imaging, Emergency & Trauma Radiology, and Administrative Leadership in Radiology.

Additionally, our Global Outreach Program expands learning horizons beyond local boundaries, offering residents a chance to engage in global radiology initiatives. On the research front, our Bioimaging Sciences Division faculty are actively involved in teaching and supervising both undergraduate and graduate students across various disciplines, while also leading cutting-edge projects in areas like Medical Imaging Physics, Biosensing, and Biomedical Image Processing and Analysis.
