Yale Global Mental Health Program announces signups for spring elective

December 16, 2015

The Yale Global Mental Health Program (YGMHP) announces that signups are open for its Spring Global Mental Health Elective.

The elective is open to the entire Yale student community, including undergraduate students, graduate students, medical students, and residents.

YGMHP provides educational opportunities and electives for the Yale community and mentorship and facilitated international experiences for residents.

Originated by residents, the program supplements current courses and electives with additional mentoring, community service, scholarly projects, and clinical experiences.

It aims to increase awareness of global mental health issues and social disparities while developing tools to address associated challenges both at home and abroad.

For information about the elective, visit YGMHP’s website here.
