Study Overview
Project EQuIP (Empowering Queer Identities in Psychotherapy) is aimed at understanding which psychotherapy approaches are most effective for queer women. Participants in this study will receive 10 sessions of LGBTQ-affirmative therapy. They will also have the opportunity to earn up to $260 for completing surveys and interviews that share their experiences and insights about the therapy they receive.
Eligibility Criteria
- Lesbian, bisexual, queer, pansexual or other non-heterosexual woman
- Ages 18 and up
- Living in NY, NJ, or PA
- Drinks Alcohol
- Does not regularly see a therapist
- Experiences depression and/or anxiety
We Welcome
Transgender and cisgender women. People who identify as women in addition to other identities (e.g., nonbinary, genderqueer, agender.)
