Rene Ortiz

Rene L. Ortiz works as a Mobile Health Van Driver for InSTRIDE, bringing over 38 years of experience as a driver for different companies. In this current role, Rene works on the Mobile Pharmacy Clinic as the lead driver, working with the homeless population and those suffering from substance use disorders. Rene has family roots in Puerto Rico, which allows him to speak Spanish and communicate with Spanish-speaking populations across the state. In Rene’s spare time, he enjoys volunteering in many community locations that provide services to those in need, such as homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and food pantries. Additionally, he likes the outdoors, nutrition, and healthy living.
