Carol Amico, PA-C, AAHIVS

Carol Amico is a physician assistant working on substance use treatment and infectious diseases research with the InSTRIDE team. She is a certified HIV Specialist with expertise in HIV/AIDS medicine, HIV prevention including PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis), hepatitis B and C, sexually transmitted infections and other infectious diseases, as well as primary care. A graduate of the Yale PA Program, Carol has dedicated her career of over 30 years to providing medical care and supporting community health in New Haven. She values compassionate care and partnering with her patients to work together on their health care goals and challenges.
