Carol Amico, PA-C, AAHIVS, PA

Carol Amico is a physician associate working in infectious disease and substance use treatment and prevention with the InSTRIDE team. She is a certified HIV Specialist with expertise in HIV/AIDS medicine, HIV prevention including PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis), hepatitis B and C, sexually transmitted infections, primary care and addiction medicine. A graduate of the Yale PA Program, Carol has dedicated her career of over 35 years to providing medical care and supporting community health in the greater New Haven area. She values compassionate care and partnering with her patients to work together on their health care goals and challenges.
