Parenting from the Inside Out
"There’s no book on parenting," says Cynthia Hunter-Gamble, mom, grandmother, and person in recovery. "They might come out with books, but you know, every child is totally different." Every parent is different, too. And parents—like children—grow, learn, and change. That's a fundamental premise behind "Parenting from the Inside Out," an intervention now being tested at West Haven Mental Health Clinic, a satellite clinic of Connecticut Mental Health Center.
