    The Task Force and Sub-Task Forces on Disparities in Eye Care Recognized for its Extraordinary Work in Health Disparities, Deep Contributions by Dr. Kristen Nwanyanwu

    We are pleased to announce that the Task Force and Sub-Task Forces on Disparities in Eye Care has been recognized for its extraordinary work in health disparities and received the 2023 American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Secretariat Award recipient. Dr. Kristen Nwanyanwu, an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science as Yale, has been deeply involved in the work of this task force.
