Kristof Kovacs, PhD
Postdoctoral Associate
Kristof earned his bachelor's degree and master's degree in biology from Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest, Hungary. He then earned his doctorate from the same university, having studied the inhibitory role of complement receptor 2 (CR2, CD21) on the B cell receptor (BCR) in human B cells. He is primarily interested in antigen discovery and understanding the role of BCR in the development of autoantibody-producing B cells. Outside of work, Kristof is into traveling and cycling.
