Yale Cerebrovascular Lab (YCVL)
Cerebrovascular Research in Stroke & Neurocritical Care
Our goal is to use novel neuromonitoring techniques to optimize cerebral blood flow following acute neurovascular injury. In the last few years, the lab’s clinical research focus has been preventing neurologic worsening after ischemic stroke and subarachnoid hemorrhage.
With active collaborations across the Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Neuroradiology Departments at Yale, as well as with teams at the University of Iowa and Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Petersen and the YCVL have successfully published a number of clinically translatable reports that aspire to improve and personalize patient care.
