The Mi Lab

We seek to understand the molecular mechanisms of bacterial cell envelope biogenesis, with a particular focus on lipopolysaccharide (LPS) synthesis and regulation. By integrating structural biology, biochemistry, microbiology, and computational approaches, we aim to translate fundamental discoveries into new therapeutic strategies against multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria.
