Participate in Research

Are you interested in research studies?

You or your child can play an important role in research by volunteering for one of our free and confidential studies. The McPartland Lab has opportunities available for both children and adults between the ages of 3 to 40 years old. We are seeking individuals with either a diagnosis of autism, intellectual disability, or who are neurotypical.

We are currently offering studies to help understand brain activity using methods such as electroencephalography (EEG), eye tracking (ET), and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

Participation involves one or more in-person visits to our lab where individuals will complete experimental procedures, talk with a clinician, and fill out questionnaires. Free parking is available and certain transportation expenses may also be covered. Participants will receive a clinical evaluation and compensation between $50 to $300.

  • We currently have research opportunities available for children between the ages of 3 and 17.
