Biography

Demilade Omolade is an undergraduate at Yale College majoring in Neuroscience.

In the Martin Lab, he investigates the role of novel genes in human smooth muscle cells and their contribution to cardiovascular disease.

His research interests lie at the intersection of neuroscience and vascular biology, with a focus on understanding molecular mechanisms underlying disease.

Outside the lab, he is actively involved in various community service and faith-based initiatives, including volunteering with the Haven Free Clinic, participating in Christian Union Lux, and singing in the Yale Gospel Choir.
