Midsummer's RNA Dreams happy hour

New Haven, CT, July 20th, 2023 - The Yale Center for RNA Science and Medicine members came together last Thursday for a delightful and enriching Midsummer's RNA Dreams happy hour at the beautiful Rose Garden at the School of Medicine.

In a social atmosphere, attendees enjoyed various beverages, including wine, cheese, and non-alcoholic options, while engaging in meaningful discussions and forging connections. The event aimed to foster faculty-student relationships, mentorships, and collaborative research endeavors vital for advancing scientific knowledge and discoveries.

A highlight of the evening was the raffle, offering students an exciting chance to win a science escapade with distinguished PIs from the RNA Center. The winners were thrilled to be paired with their mentors, showcasing the spirit of unity and support within the Yale RNA community.

The appreciated PIs and their respective winners for the science escapades are as follows:

  • Dr. Grace Chen – Jessie Mohsen, Devippriya Esakkimuthu, Gaelle Talhouame.

The winners can look forward to various enjoyable activities thoughtfully chosen by their PIs. Bird watching in the scenic East Rock, savoring delicious ice cream at Arethusa, and sharing coffee at the cozy Mew Haven cat café are just a few of the exciting experiences awaiting the lucky winners.
