Welcome to the Finberg Lab

In our laboratory, we use genetic approaches to investigate mechanisms that regulate systemic iron balance in normal physiology, and we use these approaches to understand how disruption of these mechanisms contributes to the pathogenesis of clinical disorders of iron metabolism.
