Jun Deng, Ph.D., an Associate Professor of Therapeutic Radiology at Yale University School of Medicine and an ABR-board certified medical physicist at Yale New Haven Hospital, was elected to be the President-Elect for 2012 and on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Area Medical Physics Society (CAMPS), a chapter of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM). Beginning January 1, 2012, Jun will assume the responsibility of President-Elect, and become the President of CAMPS in 2013 for one-year term, followed by a one-year term as Past-President in 2014.
