Jun Deng, Ph.D., an Associate Professor of Therapeutic Radiology at Yale University School of Medicine, was honored with an Adjunct Professorship at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the School of Precision Instrument and Opto-Electronics Engineering of Tianjin University, Tianjin, China on June 29th of 2012.
With this adjunct appointment, a series of close collaborations between Dr. Deng and Porf. Yuanming Feng, chairman of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tianjin University, has been conducted on some clinically important issues such as the applications of PET imaging, kVCBCT and EPID in the image-guided radiotherapy of cancers.
