Brain Energy Atlas Project

The goal of this project, a collaboration between Yale University and Fudan University, is to create the next generation of neuroscientific tools for highly detailed human brain spatial reference systems of energy metabolism - derived purely on basis of neuropil density throughout health and disease.

A 3D energy map, derived in silico, represents an important step to fundamentally advance the field of functional neuroimaging by facilitating the understanding and quantification of microscopic anatomy underlying macroscopic measures of brain function.

This project is a collaboration between Yale University and Fudan University.
It has been supported by National Institute of Health of USA (R01 NS-100106) and Natural Science Foundation of China (81761128011).
