The Synthesis Cycle to be Used

Determining the cost of a modified oligo begins with selecting the scale of the synthesis, then determining the appropriate per residue charges.

• A normal DNA per-residue charge is used for the modified residues unless those modifiers are RNA or 2'-O- methyl RNA.

Most of our specialty reagents are ordered from Glen Research. Glen offers only 0.2 micromole and 1.0 micromole columns for initiating syntheses with 3' modified residues.
