The Kidney Biobank

The Kidney Biobank was created by the Yale Section of Nephrology to support translational research focused on understanding the pathophysiology and therapies of kidney diseases. The BioBank uses standardized protocols for collection, transport and storage of samples. Sample types include kidney tissue, DNA, plasma, and urine. Associated clinical data is also obtained and stored in a secured, web-based disease specific database. The goal of the biorepsitory is to create a ready tissue bank whereby interested investigators may apply for access to samples and clinical data for broad use in sound biomedical research. ClinicalTrials.gov. Identifier: NCT04343417
