Mouse Metabolic Phenotyping Center
This NIDDK-funded center serves to complement DRC resources by providing the resources to study, from a metabolic perspective, novel transgenic and knockout mice. It includes the Animal Core, Phenotyping Core along with its subcores: Metabolic Imaging, Islet Cell Biology, Thermometabolism, and Functional Cardiac Metabolism. The goal is to offer a resource to perform metabolic phenotyping of diabetic and insulin-resistant mice in collaboration with investigators around the world.
