Biography

Dr. Colón-Cartagena completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Virginia Commonwealth University, followed by a specialized fellowship in Oncologic and Breast Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As Medical Director of Digital Pathology, she bridges subspecialty expertise with cutting-edge technology. Her academic and clinical focus centers on characterizing the morphologic and behavioral nuances of rare breast neoplasms, while leveraging digital slide imaging, modern workflow integration, and computational tools to advance diagnostic precision.
