Yale Program for Biomedical Ethics / YNHH Transplant Center Symposium: "Transplant Surgery and Marijuana Use"
This symposium will address the policy question of whether recent marijuana use should disqualify potential recipients for liver transplant. Speakers will include Dr. Arthur Caplan, the Director of Medical Ethics at NYU, Dr. David Cronin, Professor of Transplant Surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin, and Dr. Michael Schilsky, Medical Director of the Adult Liver Transplant Service at Yale-New Haven Hospital. A buffet dinner will be provided, and there will be ample time after the presentations for what will surely be a lively panel discussion with the audience.
