Katherine Wright, MPH

Katherine (Kate) Wright graduated from the Ohio State University with her MPH with a focus in epidemiology. Prior to joining CORE, she was an Epidemiologist for five counties in Ohio. While she tackled disease investigations and analysis for COVID and other communicable diseases, she also worked with their opioid overdose prevention team making infographics and presenting data to local stakeholders. Before that, Kate was doing research involving diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease in multiple generations of mice. These experiences allow her to bring both academic and local public health perspectives into play.
