Biography

Prof. Chungsoo Kim is an Assistant Professor Adjunct in the Section of Cardiovascular Medicine and the Yale/YNHH Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE). His primary position is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Ajou University.

Prof. Kim received his PharmD from Ajou University College of Pharmacy and earned his PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Graduate School of Medicine at the same university.

Prof. Kim's research interests focus on using real-world data to collaboratively build a healthier world. First, he aims to generate reliable evaluations and evidence regarding the effectiveness and safety of medications based on various data sources (EHR, claims, registries, etc.) and formats (OMOP, etc.) of real-world data. Second, he intends to apply AI and digital health methodologies to clinical practices and medication evaluations.
