    The following resources are available for Yale New Haven Health System and Yale University faculty and staff.
    Yale New Haven Hospital Institute for Excellence

    The Yale New Haven Hospital Institute for Excellence offers no-cost, in-person courses to YNHH/Yale University employees, students and faculty throughout the year. Individuals interested in taking courses must have an EPIC user ID and password in order to access course content and register for the course. Courses cover several topics related to quality improvement and patient safety including principles of high reliability, safety and quality, foundations of safety, quality and performance improvement, healthcare operations and finance, performance feedback and evaluation and tools for improvement.     Healthstream Online Coursework

    Healthstream, Yale New Haven Health System’s online training platform, offers several courses in quality improvement and patient safety. Individuals must be Yale New Haven Health System employees to register for courses and access course content. Course topics include Lean methodologies, Six Sigma for process and quality improvement, quality management for continuous improvement, and Kanban for continuous improvement of quality.
