FEI Tecnai G2 Spirit BioTWIN
This Lab6 emission, 80 kV microscope is optimized for examining biological specimen with either plastic or cryo sections, and routine negative stained samples. It is equipped with a SIS Morada 11 megapixel CCD camera. The setup provides quick viewing on a large area and good quality and contrast digital imaging.

The LaB6 emission, 120 kV microscope can operated at both room temperature or cryo modes, it is suitable for applications such as sample screening in negative staining, particle recongnition and analysis in material, and cryo EM imaging. It is equipped with a Gatan has an UltraScan 4000 (4k x 4k) CCD camera, and a TV-camera.

This 200 kV field-emission-gun, X-Twin lens equipped microscope is fitted with a FEI Eagle CCD camera (4k x 4k) and an AMT NanoSprint1200 CMOS camera. Two tomography holders (single-tilt and dual-tilt) are available. This microscope is mainly used for electron tomography image acquisition from resin-embedded samples and negative stained samples.

The Chameleon from SPTLabtech
The Chameleon from SPTLabtech facilitates cryoEM sample preparation at picoliter volumes using self-wicking grids. This method enables rapid freezing (a few hundred msec) after deposition thus potentially solving preferred orientation and protein aggregation problems.
