Biography
Seun Oladipupo, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Prof. Mark Hochstrasser's Lab. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's from the Federal University of Technology, Akure in Nigeria, and his Ph.D. at Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama.
Broadly, his research interest is the use of eco-friendly solutions and novel tools such as endosymbionts to address intractable insect pests' problems. Resultantly, his research at Yale attempts to elucidate the biochemical, genetic, and cell biological underpinnings to help explain how the bacterial endosymbiont Wolbachia manipulates the reproduction of its hosts.
