Biography
Dr. Jadbabaie received his medical degree from Tehran University School of Medicine in Iran in 1990. He completed his residency at Yale Internal Medicine Residency Program. He stayed on at Yale and completed fellowships in cardiology, heart failure-transplant and echocardiography. He joined the Yale faculty at the VA medical center as director of echocardiography in 2003. The VA echo lab is a small to medium sized laboratory with state of art equipment and 4000 annual echo studies. He also serves as attending physician at Yale New Haven Hospital and Yale echo lab.
Dr. Jadbabaie's research during fellowship focused on preclinical evaluation of a novel adenosine A2a receptor agonist for myocardial perfusion imaging. His current research interests include echo evaluation of diastolic function and effects of echo contrast agents on coronary vascular physiology.
