Genomic Analysis and Long-Term Outcomes of a Phase 1 Clinical Trial on Cytoreductive Radical Prostatectomy
Isaac Kim, MD, PhD, MBA [Yale Urology chair and lead author of study] says he's "cautiously optimistic" with results of Phase 1 in a long-term study, combining surgery with medical therapy in men with metastatic prostate cancer. Approximately 10% of patients had no evidence of disease after stopping hormonal therapy for more than two years.
