Four YSM Faculty Members Elected to the American Pediatric Society

Four Yale School of Medicine (YSM) faculty members were recently elected to the American Pediatric Society (APS). New members are nominated by existing members of APS and are recognized for strengthening academic pediatrics by "expanding the workforce, nurturing leaders, and developing innovative approaches to address child and adolescent health challenges," says the society.

Our new members represent the future of our society—bringing fresh perspectives, energy, and expertise," APS President Stephen R. Daniels, MD, PhD, said in a statement. "This year’s cohort is especially distinguished and diverse, with national and international leaders in education, advocacy, research, and clinical care. The APS Council looks forward to engaging with these accomplished individuals as we work together to advance our strategic plan and the mission of the APS.”

The society elected 92 new members, who will be recognized at the APS Howland Gala during the Pediatric Academic Societies Meeting in April.
