Neuroscience Grand Rounds (Glaser Lecture): “Epstein Barr Virus and Molecular Mimicry to GlialCAM, aB Crystallin and Anoctamin-2 Associated with Risk and Pathophysiology of Multiple Sclerosis”
Dr. Lawrence Steinman has been a faculty member at Stanford University since 1980. He is an elected member of both the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Medicine. Dr. Steinman’s research primarily focuses on multiple sclerosis (MS) and has led to the development of two approved MS drugs: Natalizumab and Ublituximab. This talk will center on his work on Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and GlialCAM.
