Spring is here and PEER is preparing for its first early childhood conference, Building Bridges between Research and Practice: Supporting Early Childhood Education in Connecticut. The conference is less than a month away and spaces are filling. Any interest individuals are encouraged to sign up here, including early childhood education teachers, administrators, service providers, advocates, researchers and other stakeholders. Please visit our conference announcement for more information about this event. Conference registration will close on Monday, April 16.

PEER's mailing list has been growing over the past month, and we're also pleased to welcome eight new Affiliate Member organizations: Capitol Child Development Center, Carousel Preschool, CT Data Collaborative, Gesell Institute of Child Development, LEARN Partners for Birth to Three, Phyllis Bodel Childcare Center, Sacred Heart University’s Farrington College of Education, and University of Bridgeport’s School of Education. Please visit our Members page for a complete list of PEER's Core, Participating and Affiliate members. Organizations or childcare providers may request affiliate status by registering here.

The Partnership for Early Education Research has grown substantially since its inception in 2014. In the past year, we've launched our website, held our first Research Agenda Workshop last June, and worked collaboratively with Participating and Affiliate members to draft PEER's long-term research agenda. We've partnered with state and local stakeholders to launch three studies to address PEER's initial research questions. The Management Team hopes you’ll join PEER for its upcoming conference on May 24 and for the journey that follows!
