Overview
Shana Gleeson, MD, is an infectious diseases specialist who manages a wide variety of infections, with a focus on helping transplant recipients and other immunocompromised patients.
As an assistant professor of medicine (infectious diseases) at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Gleeson teaches and mentors future physicians and creates educational resources for transplant patients to help prevent post-surgical infection. She is also involved in developing programs that provide quality health care for all individuals.
Dr. Gleeson earned her medical degree at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, then completed a residency in internal medicine at Brown University and a fellowship in infectious diseases at Yale School of Medicine.
