Palomi Kurade

Palomi Kurade (she/they) is a Postgraduate Associate at the Yale LGBTQ Mental Health Initiative. She earned her MS in Applied Psychology from the Central University of Andhra Pradesh in 2024 and a BS in Psychology from the University of Mysore in 2022. Prior to working at Yale, they were a Lab Manager at Florida International University and a Research Assistant at Stony Brook University.

Palomi's research interests include the examination of internalized sexual stigmas, social and health disparities, and inequalities for individuals with multiple diverse identities, especially for LGBTQIA+ people of color.
