Xiang Le Chua

Jerry was a postgraduate trainee at the research group of Min Wu between 2019 to 2021. He loved exploiting single-cell cortical oscillations as a strategy to study the intertwined networks within the actin cytoskeletal network. Inspired by his trainings under Min, he decided to further his knowledge in actin dynamics by pursuing his PhD with Pekka Lappalainen as his advisor, at the University of Helsinki. He wishes to identify the mechanisms for specifying functionally-distinct actin populations at the right space and time, in human cells.
