Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy for Major Depressive Disorder: An Exploratory Placebo-Controlled, Fixed-Order Trial
Jordan Sloshower, MD, MSc, clinical instructor of psychiatry, and Deepak Cyril D'Souza, MD, Albert E Kent Professor of Psychiatry, are first and senior authors, respectively, of a paper in Journal of Psychopharmacology that found depression and anxiety significantly improved following both placebo and psilocybin-assisted therapy with no significant difference in the degree of change between the two conditions.
