Antimalarial Pharmacology and Pharmacodynamics in Uganda

An ongoing study in Tororo, Uganda aims to characterize the PK/PD and pharmacogenetics of antimalarials in the context of HIV co-infection, development and pregnancy. Additional studies aim to understand important interactions between the most widely used antiretrovirals and antimalarials. These studies are done in collaboration with researchers at UCSF, Nigeria, Malawi, and Uganda.
