Arash Fereydooni Granted an Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship

As one of 66 outstanding medical and veterinary students nationwide who have received the award, Fereydooni will be supported through HHMI’s Medical Research Fellows Program.

Created to aid in the education and training of the next generation of physician-scientists, the program recognizes exceptional students from schools around the country and the studies they have defined. The title of Fereydooni’s research project is “Effects of rapamycin on adaptive venous remodeling to improve arteriovenous fistula patency.”

This Fellowship will support Fereydooni's research in the Dardik Lab.
