Our lab uses human blood and respiratory samples in vitro to understand phenotype and function of immune cells during health and severe viral bronchiolitis.
Brodsky Lab
Our Mission is to decipher immune dysregulation underlying early-life critical illness and respiratory failure to set the stage for improved treatments and outcomes for our patients.
Our lab uses in vitro studies with primary patient cells to discover developmental and translationally relevant molecular programs that impact critically ill children with immune dysregulation.
One focus of our research is CD8 T cell function and regulation in normal development, and aberrant responses during critical illness, such as severe respiratory failure due to viral bronchiolitis in early-life.
